▌TIRRADOR ESCONDIDO, “TIR” - A made member of the Mafia who is Philipino/American, but was inducted because he’s the best Hitman the Mafia has had.
His parents were killed by a Hitman at the age of 12, so he ran away, and was picked up by the Mafia, and had trained to become a hitman for revenge’s sake.
He is described as handsome, and tall (standing 6’4”). He has dog ears, and a dog tail.
His best friend is Stoler.

▌PISTOLERO, “STOLER” - A made member of the Mafia who is Japanese and a bit Korean, who was inducted as a member due to the fact he’s been so loyal, and because he’s a very useful member. He’s best friends with Tir, and has been alongside him ever since they were 12.
Stoler is a computer nerd, and a hacker. He’s 6’4”, and an illegal alien to America.
He was abused as a child, so he ran away to America.
He’s best known for his cigarettes, and his large skull earrings. He has dog ears and a curly dog tail.

▌VITIATE EVERTOPER - A rebellious wolf demon who often takes form as a human, as a lot of demons do.
His parents were killed by humans when he was a lot younger, and so he developed a burning hatred for humans. In fact, he makes it his duty to kill humans whenever he would like to, even if it’s illegal in the demon world.
He has a major attitude, and he loves to shout. He only trusts Markus, even more then his two brothers and his sister.
His brother is a member or the demon council, thus he cannot be touched or harmed. He is supposedly the next in line to be the ‘Devil’ (a high ranking status in the demon-world). He doesn’t know this.

▌ MARKUS MORIBUND - A kind, gentle, but always cautious half demon who has grown up being mentored by a member of the demon council, since his parents were put to death for their love (as one was human and one was a demon and that’s illegal).
Markus lives with his half-demon status, but doesn’t necessarily enjoy it. He was always teased about it.
He only seems to enjoy the company of his mentor, and Vitiate, whom have chosen to accept him over everyone else.
He was sent to watch Vitiate, so he doesn’t cause trouble, but has let him get away with a lot of things because Markus seems to think it will help him overcome his fears and hatred toward humans.

▌ DIRGE XEROPHYTE - A lonely usaryuujin, who has lost his memory (it was actually erased). He has a disease called Zeolite stigma, which will eventually eat him inside-out. He is seeking to find the cure, as well as find himself.
He gets bouts of strange memories, especially when he dreams…however, he is unable to decipher what they mean.
In the end, it turns out Dirge is one of the missing puzzle pieces to the evil Lucifer’s plan to destroy the living remnants of Aertha’s (a human-made goddess who was killed hundreds of years ago) DNA, and then recreate the species for himself. Dirge is one of the only usaryuujin left who even remotely look like one, or have enough potent DNA to have the powers.

▌ KEEGAN GUAFI STERLING, “GUUFU” (sometimes even Guufu Touquet if he needs to use a full name as a cover) - A short tempered, puny half-breed who was orphaned due to his village being burnt down at a young age.
He grew up being teased about his height, and his features (having large ears and a tail), and his strange abilities to control fire.
He left his foster parents and his village at the age of 15 to join the military during wartime, and to learn to control his fire powers.
However, he happened to overhear something he wasn’t supposed to (due to his large ears) while in the military, and was sent on the run, and has thus become a target and enemy of most of the country.
Guufu, however has unravelled some mysteries about the warring countries (like they are being forced to war only to distrace people while a greater evil comes to being)…and has thus made it his duty to destroy all the evil, and enemies of the kings, and put a stop to the war.

▌Ventus Olioth - A charming, tall, handsome, but very wise and cautious being. He is apparently a Qilin (a breed of unicorn), who was also part of the military once. However, due to a betrayal, he fleed his duties, and incidentally overheard some similar plotting to the stuff Guufu overheard. He is now a nomad, and an escapee.
Many people know him as the mysterious wandering “Bloodwound”, and thus nobody bothers him.
He is actually from the opposing side of the war to Guufu, but fleed to the other side of the border, and coincidentally met Guufu on the other side.

▌ELIAS LALOCHEIZA, “CYNIC” - A man completely taken by his own mind. Originally a pyrotechnist for the army/military, he began to have feelings of pyromania after a few tragic incidents occured on (and off) the battlefield. Eventually he grew to be an insomniac, and lost his mental capacities, becoming an axe murderer, and an arsonist.
Although, unlike many who are considered legally ‘insane’, he still has the ability to think and act properly— he just chooses not to. He’s an odd character who refuses to conform to the current government.
In fact, eventually he breaks out of jail (after being tested on, and being fused with numerous monstrosities) with his friends and seeks to destroy the government system that has become what people most fear:
A government that deprives the people of their rights, and allows no privacy. The all-seeing eye is the only omnipotent being left over the people, and Cynic, although considered a criminal, wants to break the people free.

▌MASIKA KAMAU, “ZASSHU” - A member of a African Hyena tribe in the saharas and jungles of Kenya. He speaks Swahili fluently, and is a rather interesting being.
Standing only 5’10”, he’s a bit misunderstood— at first glance he appears to be a pipsqueak compared to his comrades, but he is the greatest warrior in the village.
Also, he stands out among the others— his father was an aardwolf instead of a Hyena, but his mother is the high chieftess of the tribe…thus he is both shunned, and respected greatly by his peers.
Depending on who you ask, you will get a variety of answers.
However, he has made his place through his hunting abilities, and keen learning skills. Although, he is easily antagonized, and will stand his ground at all costs— especially for his best friend Haisha.
His rival is Kafir, although he has mixed feelings about Kafir— who would, at times of danger, stand at his side to defend him, despite his constant teasing.

▌KAFIR VUVUZELA - The second best hunter in the tribe. He’s a giant man with hyena ears, and an obnoxious personality. He draws attention to himself (and loves it that way), and is trademarked by his ‘huge’, matted hair.
His goal in life is to make Zasshu miserable, or so it would seem. He picks on the “stubborn underling”, but doesn’t seem to give a damn about Haisha (Zasshu’s best friend).
